Join us for a regal winter evening as CIAO journeys through Piedmont, one of Italy’s most revered and prestigious wine regions.
Nestled at the foot of the Alps in northwestern Italy, Piedmont is renowned for its mist covered hills, centuries old winemaking traditions and some of the world’s most sought after wines. Home to the legendary Langhe region, a globally celebrated wine landscape recognised for its rich history and winemaking heritage, Piedmont is where Nebbiolo reigns supreme, giving rise to Barolo, known as the King of Wines and Barbaresco, its elegant Queen.
Hosted by wine extraordinaire Paolo Sandri of Convivium Wines, the evening will guide guests through five exceptional wines that capture the depth, complexity and character of this remarkable region. Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with a four course menu inspired by Piedmont’s rich culinary heritage, with flavours shaped by truffle filled forests, alpine pastures and generations of artisanal producers who have defined Italian gastronomy.
