CIAO invites you to a springtime evening where romance and Tuscan heritage meet at the table.
Tuscan cuisine was born from the land, not the pantry. For centuries, Tuscany has been home to farmers, shepherds, and winemakers, cooking with whatever the seasons provided.
This tradition of cucina povera, or “poor cooking,” remains at the heart of Tuscan food today: simple, honest, and deeply connected to its roots. It’s a cuisine built on patience, tradition, and a deep respect for what the earth provides.
In Tuscany, wine isn’t a companion to the meal; it’s woven into it. Sangiovese, the region’s signature grape, carries the same soul as its cuisine: patient, structured, and shaped entirely by the land. For this Wine Dinner, the wine isn’t a footnote to the meal. It’s the main event. From the bright acidity of a young Chianti to the depth of an aged Brunello di Montalcino, each glass has its own chapter of Tuscany’s story, told by wine extraordinaire Paolo Sandri of Convivium Wines.
Join us for an evening crafted for the curious palate, a specially curated menu, matched pour by pour.
