We invite the community to join us this ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April,
to honour our servicemen and women, past and present.
Thanks to members of the community who have generously donated their time and assistance, Howard Smith Wharves will host a Vietnam War photo gallery, a Historical Vehicle Display and Site Tours of the Air Raid Shelters and other areas of significance in and around the site.
The Vietnam War Gallery will be displayed on the decks surrounding Howards Hall, the Rivershed and the adjoining lawns from 9am to 4pm.
Following the ANZAC Day Parade in Brisbane City, the Historical Vehicle Display will be located on the East and Rivershed Lawns from approximately 12pm to 4pm.
Additionally, the Site Tours operated by the Brisbane Greeters will commence at 12pm leaving from Citrus House with further tours taking place every 30 minutes, and the final tour taking place at 4pm. For food and beverage service, the Cafe located at the rear of the Rivershed will be open from 6am serving tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, breakfast snacks and bacon and egg rolls from this time.
Felons Brewing Co. will open its doors at midday with a full menu available. Enjoy live entertainment in the Beer Garden and 2-up on the Felons Lawn from 1pm.
