Set across Main Lawn and surrounding spaces at Howard Smith Wharves, THE GREAT SEAFOOD FEAST is a chef led experience celebrating Australia’s coastal culture through food, community and connection.

Led by acclaimed chef Danielle Alvarez, the event brings together fresh local seafood, seasonal produce and a relaxed, social atmosphere, all set against the backdrop of Brisbane’s iconic riverside.

THE EXPERIENCE

A LOVE LETTER TO QUEENSLAND’S COASTAL RITUALS

Drawing on classic Queensland seaside rituals, think fish and chips by the water, long lunches and easy afternoons by the river, the experience brings these moments to life in a fresh, contemporary way.

Expect communal dining, vibrant styling, live music and roving entertainment, all designed to create a lively, engaging atmosphere for all ages.

FOOD

At the heart of the experience is a relaxed, share style approach to seafood.

From freshly shucked oysters and tartare to grilled tropical Queensland lobster tail, potato scallops and classic fish and chips, the menu balances elevated coastal dining with nostalgic seaside favourites. Burgers and soft serve round out the offering for a truly laid back, all day experience.

Joining the celebration, Fellini’s will introduce a series of seafood dishes to its menu, bringing an Italian perspective to the waterfront with simple, seasonal flavours.

DRINKS

The drinks offering is fresh, vibrant and designed for effortless enjoyment.

Expect crisp wines, bright seasonal cocktails and ice cold beers, including the Felons Super Cold Crisp Lager, poured at sub zero temperatures for a signature frosted glass experience, marking its Brisbane debut.

CIAO GARDEN

In CIAO Garden, a dedicated oyster bar meets a vibrant cocktail offering.

Freshly shucked oysters are served to order, paired with a seasonal cocktail program curated by Ed Loveday, designed to complement both the seafood and the riverside setting.

PICKLE BALL 

Adding to the energy, a pop up pickle ball court brings a playful, social edge to the experience, inviting guests to jump in for a quick round between moments at the table.

With friends nearby, it’s the perfect moment to step in and soak up the atmosphere.
