Conditions of Entry

1. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18.

2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.

How to Enter

3. To qualify for the draw, eligible persons must follow, or be a follower of @howardsmithwharves,  @festa_italiana_ and @smallluxuryhotels Instagram accounts, leave a comment tagging at least one eligible account on the Instagram giveaway post, complete the online registration form and opt in to subscribe to receive marketing communications from Artemus Group and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

4. Eligible persons may enter as many times as they like, with entries accruing at one entry for each comment and corresponding online entry.

Duration of the Competition

5. The competition will commence at 4pm AEST on Friday 22 May 2026 and will conclude at 11.59pm AEST on Friday 12 June 2026.

Details of Prizes

6. There will be one prize consisting:

• One (1) return economy flight package for two (2) people from any Australian capital city to either Rome or Milan to the value of AUD $6,000 including taxes and fees.
• Three (3) SLH vouchers, each valid for two (2) nights’ accommodation for two guests, redeemable at any of the 700+ Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties across more than 100 countries

The total value of the prize is approximately AUD$10,200.

7. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.

8. Flights are capped at a maximum total value of AUD $6,000 including taxes and fees.

9. Flights must be booked by the promoter or nominated travel partner and are subject to availability, airline schedules and blackout dates.

10. If the selected flights exceed the maximum value of AUD $6,000, the winner will be responsible for paying the difference.

11. No alternative routes, upgrades or cash alternatives will be provided.

12. Any additional travel costs including travel insurance, visas, transfers, meals and personal expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

13. The winner’s trip must be booked in within 12 months of the prize being claimed.

14. The prize cannot be applied to existing bookings.

15. The full prize trip must be completed by 12 June 2027.

16. SLH complimentary nights terms and conditions:

1. The arrangement relates to standard double room accommodation only based on two people sharing.
2. It is always subject to availability; (i.e. at the hotel’s discretion. If a booking is requested during the hotel’s peak period, or their annual complimentary room night allocation has already been confirmed, they are entitled to deny confirmation).
3. The complimentary room night(s) can only be used with new bookings and therefore cannot be used in conjunction with an existing booking at an SLH Hotel.
4. General online availability and hotel availability for claiming complimentary room night(s) may differ; the availability of the letter will prevail.
5. A maximum of three (3) room nights can be requested per hotel, per stay, (applies only to complimentary room night offers for three nights or more.)
6. A minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice must be given.
7. The complimentary room night(s) are valid for 12 months from the date of receipt.
8. All reservation requests must be made in writing only to the UK office for the attention of Katrin Holtkott at katrin.holtkott@slh.com.
9. All food, beverages, taxes, and other incidental costs incurred by the guest are to be settled prior to departure from, and direct with, the individual hotel.
10. Complimentary room night(s) are non-flexible and once confirmed by SLH, no alterations or cancellations can be made. In case of alteration or cancellation, you will forfeit the room night(s).
11. Benefits associated with SLH’s loyalty programme, SLH Club, cannot be redeemed in conjunction with this offer.
12. Guests who choose to utilise their room night(s) at an all-inclusive SLH hotel will incur an additional charge, which will vary depending on the property selected.
13. No monetary value can be given in exchange for a complimentary night(s).
14. The complimentary night(s) cannot be transferred.
15. The following hotel is not available: Casa Ellul, Malta.
16. Small Luxury Hotels of the World has the right to update these terms and conditions. Complimentary room nights will be governed by the terms and conditions that are in place at the time the room nights are claimed rather than issued.

Date, Time and Place of Draw

17. The winner will be selected randomly using AppSorteos Random Name Picker.

18. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s offices at 572 Brunswick St, New Farm QLD 4005.

Notification of Winner

19. The winner will be notified by Instagram Direct Message on 15 June 2026.

20. The winner will also be notified by email detailing their prize.

21. The winner consents to the use of their name and suburb of residence for promotional and marketing purposes and agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter.

No Liability

22. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:

1. 1. inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
   2. purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
   3. any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
   4. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website;
   5. unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
   6. electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
   7. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
   8. any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

23. Once the prize winner’s reservation has been made the Promoter will not be liable for any cost adjustments due to change of mind on dates, or any additional costs or charges associated with the winner’s prize.

25. The Promoter will not be liable for personal injury suffered during prize winnings. If requested, the winner, and their guests (if any), must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of the prize being awarded.  Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.

26. The preceding condition does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.

Unclaimed Prize Draw

27. The prize winner must respond by Friday 19 June 2026 or the competition will be redrawn.

28. If the prize is not claimed by Friday 19 June 2026 an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted on Monday 22 June 2026 at the Promoter’s offices in Brisbane.

29. Should an unclaimed prize draw be necessary, the winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by Instagram Direct message, and by email.

30. The Promoter is HSW Nominees Pty Ltd ABN 19 166 209 874 located at 572 Brunswick St, 4005 QLD.

Privacy

31. The personal information of entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this competition and its winner and may be used to market its services to the entrant. The personal information of the entrants will be held and used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available at https://howardsmithwharves.com/privacy-policy/. The personal information of winners may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this competition.  If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the prize.

32. In accordance with the provisions of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Queensland), this promotion does not require a permit.
