Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
We can cater to all special dietary requirements and our team are passionate about providing guests with special dietary requirements with an equitable and memorable experience. For group menu bookings, dietary requirements are required seven (7) days prior to your event.
Whilst we take the highest care in providing all guests dietary requirements, products such as eggs, gluten, nuts, dairy, pork etc. are used throughout our kitchen and we cannot guarantee that all products that are used will not cause cross-contamination with the guest’s dietary needs.
Is your venue weather dependent?
We are an outdoor alfresco restaurant that is affected by the rain. However, we do have limited undercover seating available. Should heavy rain be forecasted, keep an eye out on our social media for updates or give us a ring on (07) 3188 9090.
Can I make a booking?
La Mexicana is predominately a walk-in venue only. However, if you’d like to join us as group of 15 or larger, please feel free to contact our team to discuss our group menu options for a booking.
Can we split our bill?
We don’t offer split bills but have Me&U beacons on the table allowing guests to order and pay separately.
Can minors attend?
La Mexicana welcomes minors to dine with us. Table service will be provided, and no alcoholic beverages will be served to tables of minors that do not have responsible adults present at the table.
Can we bring decorations?
We do not allow any balloons or other decorations in our venue due to our sustainability initiatives.
Can we bring a cake?
You are than welcome to bring a cake, however, we cannot cut or store it for you. Our team can provide cutlery and plates on the day as required.
Can we set up a bar tab?
You are most welcome to set up a bar tab. We just hold onto a debit/credit card behind the bar and cross check a licence to match the name on the card.
Can we bring our dog?
We love our furry friends. Dogs are welcome in all areas of our venue, but keep in mind we are a busy venue so bring your pet only if they’ll feel comfortable.
Are there bathrooms located close by?
There are two sets of bathrooms located close by at Green House or Rivershed. Please ask any of our friendly staff for decorations if required. All bathrooms within the HSW precinct are provided for patrons and general public.
Is there wheelchair access?
All sections of our venue are accessible.
